This week, I’ll be comparing two similar products: The Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub and the Clinique Sweet Pots in the color Pink Frambosie.

About the Clinique Lip Scrub

Price: $19.50+tax

Weight: 0.42 ounces

Includes: One Lip Scrub and one Tinted Lip Balm

The Clinique scrub comes in six colors.

Personally, I like the Lush lip scrub much better. The Lush Lip Scrub removes dead skin easily and tastes better. The Clinique product is hard to remove from the container and does not properly scrub your lips. On the other side of the container of the Clinique product, it contains a lip balm. I also did not like this lip balm because it too was so hard to remove from the container and place on your lips.

The perfect time to use a lip scrub: use right before putting on lipstick or any lip liner. This makes the applications smooth and the color stays on longer. Specifically, the Clinique scrub says to use it up to three times a week, however, the Lush scrub can be used multiple times a week.

 

Overall, the lush lip scrub is cheaper, contains more lip scrubbing product and works better.
